Daniel is a Registered Social Worker who provides Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) in a structured and collaborative way. He helps clients make sense of the patterns that contribute to stress, anxiety, low mood, and other mental health challenges, and works with them to develop practical tools for change.

His style is thoughtful, organized, and reflective. Sessions tend to feel calm, focused, and purposeful, with an emphasis on slowing things down enough to understand what is driving current difficulties, and then identifying concrete steps forward. Clients often leave sessions with clearer insight into their patterns and at least one or two practical strategies to apply between sessions.

Daniel believes therapy works best when it is both evidence-based and personally meaningful, and he works to ensure that each client’s unique culture, spirituality, and lived experience are respected throughout the process.

This approach tends to work well for clients who appreciate structure, reflection, and a goal-oriented process—especially those who are motivated to understand themselves more deeply and are open to actively practicing strategies between sessions.

Daniel's approach may be less of a fit for individuals looking for a primarily unstructured or exploratory approach, or for those seeking a therapeutic style that focuses mainly on ongoing emotional support rather than collaborative insight-building and skills-based change.

Daniel really allows you to heal during this process. At the beginning of March, I was at the lowest point in my life and had I not met Daniel I don’t know where I would be today. He’s provided me with the tools and resources necessary to allow me to enjoy life again without allowing my anxiety and depression to consume me, and I couldn’t be more grateful for that. He is such a caring and genuine individual, and for this being my first experience with therapy I’m very thankful.
